The Woodshedders bring together the diverse influences of American Country, Rhythm & Blues, Old-Time, Bluegrass, and Gypsy Jazz. Lead singer and guitarist, Dwayne Brooke is joined by upright bassist Ryan Mayo, fiddlin’ David Van Deventer, mandolin and guitar player Jared Pool, and drummer Jesse Shultzaberger. Their debut album, Catch That Yardbird, was released to critical acclaim including “Roots Album of the Year” (Just Plain Folks) and a spot in the SoundStage! Network’s “Top 10 Albums of 2009”. 2011 brought about the release of their sophomore recording O Dig which has earned rave reviews and international airplay. During the summer of 2007,former Once Hush Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Greg Riordan teamed up with Chris Wojtal (LUCA, Dropping Sully) to form the Foxhole Prayers. The original duo spawned into an open forum for musicianship to include the talents of Mark Dinaldo (Karl Shumman Band), Garrett and Lauren Anderson, Kenton Dunson, Tristan Gilbert (Lower Case Blues, Break The Blue Line, Root 3), Jon Crill (Vital Verve)l, and Marc Cristi just to name a few.
